Oar began on the water at West Lakes. Building on that, Oar Glenunga brings the same modern, vibrant brunch and lunch to the heart of Adelaide’s eastern suburbs.

Oar at West Lakes
Oar opened at the front of the Rowing SA complex on West Lakes, a lakeside cafe that was named Breakfast Restaurant winner, Metro South & West, at the Restaurant & Catering SA Awards for Excellence in 2018 and 2019.
- The move east
Glenunga
Building on that success, Oar came to Portrush Road, bringing the same coffee, brunch and lunch to Glenunga and the eastern suburbs.

Coffee from 7am (8am on Sundays), brunch all day and lunch until 2:30pm, seven days, with the room ours for private functions in the evening.

The menu has all the usual brunch suspects, and also more interesting and fun dishes for people looking for something new in Glenunga.

We want Oar Glenunga to be a gathering place for the neighbourhood: a coffee on the way to work, a long brunch on the weekend, and a room for the nights that matter.
The bar is stocked with boutique wine and beer, with packages built around your favourites, and our event coordinator is here to create an evening that is unique to you.

On the water at 100 Military Road, West Lakes Shore, with breakfast on the lake and weddings in the evening.
